Follow the steps below to pin bookmarks on Google Chrome.

1. Type or Search for the Page You Want to Bookmark

In the Chrome address bar at the top, type the URL of the page you want to bookmark. Make sure the webpage is fully loaded before proceeding. In our example, we will try to pin the webpage “example.com.”

2. Click the Star Icon to Save the Bookmark

Click the star icon located on the right side of the address bar. 

A window will open where you can rename the bookmark and choose its location. Select “Bookmarks bar” if you want it to appear there, then click “Done” to save.

3. Show the Bookmarks Bar if It’s Not Visible

If the bookmarks bar is hidden, press Ctrl + Shift + B on Windows or Command + Shift + B on Mac to display it. The bookmarks bar will appear directly below the address bar for quick access to your bookmarks.

4. Rearrange Your Bookmarks by Dragging Them Along the Bar

To organize your bookmarks, click and drag any bookmark on the bookmarks bar to rearrange it. Move it left or right and release it in your preferred position when you see this white bar.

5. Click Your Pinned Bookmarks to Quickly Open Pages

Your pinned bookmarks will now be visible on the bookmarks bar. You can click on any of them to instantly open your favorite saved pages with one click.
