Importing Edge Settings to Google Chrome
Follow the steps below to move Edge settings to Google Chrome.
1. Export Favorites (Bookmarks) from Microsoft Edge into a File
Open Microsoft Edge and click the three horizontal dots in the top-right corner. From the dropdown, select “Favorites.”

Click the three dots again and select “Export favorites.”

Save the HTML file to your computer by clicking “Save.”.

2. Export Passwords from Microsoft Edge into a File
In Edge, click the three horizontal dots and go to “Settings.”

On the left side, select “Profiles,” then click “Passwords.”

Scroll down and click the three dots next to “Settings.”

Select “Export passwords.” Follow the prompts, and save the CSV file with your passwords to your computer.

3. Import Favorites into Google Chrome
Open Chrome and click the three vertical dots in the top-right corner. Select “Bookmarks,” then click “Import bookmarks and settings.”

In the window that opens, choose “Bookmarks HTML file” from the dropdown arrow.

Click “Choose file.”

Locate the HTML file you exported from Edge, and click “Open” to import your favorites.

4. Import Passwords into Google Chrome
In Chrome, click the three vertical dots and select “Settings.”

Click on “Autofill and passwords” and select “Google Password Manager.”

At the Passwords page, click on “Settings” and then tap “Select file” to upload the exported passwords from Edge.

Select the file and click “Open.”

5. Verify Imported Data in Google Chrome
You can choose to delete the password file you have successfully imported by ticking off this box, or you can view the passwords in Chrome by clicking on “View passwords.”

Verify that the bookmarks are in the browser by finding a folder named “Imported” in the bookmarks bar. Now, your data from Edge should be available in Chrome.
