2. Select Mozilla Firefox as the source browser for importing bookmarks

In the pop-up window, click the dropdown and choose “Mozilla Firefox.”

Ensure the “Favorites/Bookmarks” option is checked. Then, click the “Import” button to start transferring your bookmarks.

3. Ensure Firefox is installed on your system

If Firefox isn’t listed, confirm it’s installed on your computer. Open your Start menu.

Or the applications folder and search for “Firefox.” If it’s not there, reinstall Firefox to continue with the import.

4. Export Firefox bookmarks to an HTML file if direct import fails

If Chrome can’t import directly, open Firefox and press Ctrl+Shift+O (the shortcut to open the Bookmark Library). In the new window, click on “Import and backup.” Then, select “Export Bookmarks to HTML” from the dropdown.

Save the file to your computer by clicking “Save” on the pop-up window.

5. Manually import bookmarks from the saved HTML file

In Chrome, go to the import tool again on Step 1, then click on the dropdown arrow and choose “Bookmarks HTML File.”

Select “Choose file.”

And click “Open” to import the bookmarks.

Click on “Done” and check your imported bookmarks.

6. Verify that your Firefox bookmarks are in Chrome

Check on the bookmarks bar located at the top of the page, just below the address bar. You will find a folder named “Imported” if you successfully import the bookmarks from Firefox.
