Follow the steps below to export Google Chrome bookmarks to Internet Explorer.
1. Export Bookmarks From Chrome
Open Chrome and click the three vertical dots in the top-right corner. Navigate to “Bookmarks and lists” and then select “Bookmark Manager.”
In Bookmark Manager, click the three-dot menu again.
Then select “Export Bookmarks.”
Choose a file location, then click “Save” to save the file as an HTML.
2. Access the “Import and Export” Menu in Internet Explorer
Click the “File” menu or press the “Alt” key to reveal the menu bar, then select “Import and Export.” This will open the import/export wizard for the next steps.
3. Choose the Option to Import From a File
In the import/export wizard, select “Import from a file” and then click “Next.” This will enable you to use the HTML file to import your bookmarks.
5. Select the Chrome Bookmarks HTML File for Import
Check the box for “Favorites” and then click “Next.”
Click “Browse,” locate the HTML file you exported from Chrome, select it, then click “Next.”
Locate and click on the file. Tap “Open” once done.
6. Finalize and Complete the Bookmarks Import Process
Choose the folder where you want to save the bookmarks, then click “Next.”
Choose “Favorites” to store your bookmarks in this section, then click “Import.”
Once the process is complete, click “Finish,” and your Chrome bookmarks will appear in Internet Explorer’s favorites.
